BuiltByHuman ("we", "our", or "us") operates the BuiltByHuman Chrome extension and the website at builtbyhuman.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our extension.
We do not collect, store, or share:
When you click the BuiltByHuman extension button, the URL of the active tab is sent to the BuiltByHuman API (builtbyhuman.app) to perform an AI authorship analysis. Only the URL you explicitly choose to scan is transmitted. No data is sent passively or in the background.
Scan requests are sent to our API hosted at builtbyhuman.app. We may log URLs submitted for scanning for the purposes of improving our detection model. These logs are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer any data to third parties. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services within the extension.
BuiltByHuman is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
